Terms and conditions for servicing and maintaining residential swimming pools and spas.

Pool Masters' three levels of service.

  1. Chemicals only
  2. Chemicals and Filter
  3. Chemicals Only

Full Service  provides customers with the following services:

  • Testing and water balancing to keep water chemistry within the recommended limits for safety and comfort
  • Dosing of chemicals to keep water chemistry within proper limits
  • Vacuuming sides and bottom of the main pool
  • Brushing cleaning tiles at the water line (includes removal of water line dirt and oil, but does not include removal of scale or stains)
  • Skimming water surface to remove debris
  • Periodic cleaning of filter
  • Dump skimmer and pump baskets

Chemical Filter provides customers with the following services:

  • Testing and water balancing to keep water chemistry within the recommended limits for safety and comfort
  • Dosing of chemicals to keep water chemistry in proper limits
  • Periodic cleaning of filter
  • Dump skimmer and pump baskets

Chemicals Only provides customers with the following services:

  • Testing and water balancing to keep water chemistry within the recommended limits for safety and comfort
  • Dosing of chemicals to keep water chemistry within proper limits

For all levels of service:

  • Pool Masters will provide each customer with an accurate report on what was done to the pool.  This report can be provided via text or email or you can come into the store for a printed report.
  • Pool Masters will report to the customer service issues related to the operation of the pool.
  • Pool Masters may skip a service day due to:
    • Inclement weather where there is risk of injury due to lighting or high winds
    • National holidays

Small repairs

Includes replacing o-rings, cracked lids, baskets applying sealant, and lubricants.  These will be done on an as-needed basis for Full Service and Chemical Filters.  For Chemicals Only, this service will be provided when requested, or if the tech notices a problem and the customer agrees to the replacement of the part.

The cost of the part will be added to the monthly invoice.

Any other type of service will require a service call and must be scheduled through the office.

Automatic Cleaners

Pool Masters can remove and repair your automatic cleaner.

Our pool maintenance professionals can notify you if they notice a problem, if you are on Full Service or Chemical Filter they will remove the cleaner and notify you of the problem and cost to repair.  You may decline this service.

If you are on Chemicals Only the Pool Masters’ pro will notify you if they notice a problem or you can request they pick it up for repair.

Pool Masters requires customers to perform the following actions to allow us to keep servicing the pool.

Pool leaks must be corrected. 

If you have been notified that your pool is leaking and requires the addition of water to maintain proper levels after 2 or more visits, your service will be paused until the leak is corrected.  We must do this because to keep a pool in balance when outside water is being added requires excessive amounts of chemicals.

Malfunctioning Critical Equipment

This includes:

  • filters, pumps
  • valves
  • automation boards
  • timers

Each of these is critical to the proper operation of your pool. If they are not operating properly, keeping the chemistry correct will be very difficult and require excessive dosages.  Because of this if the equipment cannot be repaired service will be paused.

Excessive Amounts of Debris

This includes excessive grass clippings, excessive lawn debris, from lawn care companies, palm fonds, and any type of repair material from construction; is not the responsibility of Pool Masters maintenance teams.  

Dogs or obstruction to accessing pool

If the office is not notified of the obstruction, and dogs are not properly secured, then Pool Masters reserves the right to skip the pool for that day.  The service is still charged as normal.  This is because we arrived on the scheduled day but could not preform the service through no fault of our own.

Hurricanes and Inclement Weather

Pool Masters will make all efforts to maintain service in inclement weather conditions.

Safety of our technicians is paramount

Conditions that prevent us from delivering service.

  • Lighting, when there is lighting occuring within the immediate area our technicians will not conduct pole operations this includes skimming and vaccuming, brushing and depending on the severity of the weather, service may be skipped.   You will be notified that service was skipped due to weather or lighting in the area.
  • Tropical storms, service will be canceled when there is a named storm that passes over the service area and when officials declare an emergency or declare that only essentials vehicals should be on the road.  Durring and after a severe storm schedules can be disruppted due the amount of chemicals and extra time required missed visits are not reimbursed for an “act of God.”
  •  After a severe storm we will be unable to service the pool if there is excessive debris in the pool or pool area
